Free website audit
Enter any address. We load the page the way Google and browsers do, then check its speed on a phone, the SEO basics, how it looks when shared, and the security settings most sites forget. Every problem comes with what to do about it.
What it checks
Thirty checks, five areas
- Speed
- Google Lighthouse on a simulated mid-range phone: Largest Contentful Paint, layout shift, blocking time. Real-visitor data from Chrome when the site has enough traffic.
- Search
- Title, meta description, H1, noindex, canonical, robots.txt, sitemap, structured data, image alt text, language, and whether the content is in the HTML or drawn by JavaScript.
- Social sharing
- The image, title and description WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Facebook and X show when someone shares your link.
- Security
- HTTPS, the HTTP-to-HTTPS redirect, mixed content, HSTS, Content-Security-Policy, clickjacking protection, and server software versions on show.
- Technical
- Mobile viewport, server response time, redirect chains, HTML size, character encoding and favicon.
Questions
About the audit
Is the website audit really free?
Yes. There is no signup and no email gate. We built it because these are the checks we run before quoting on any project, and most problems it finds are quick to fix once you know about them.
Why is my speed score different every time I run it?
The lab test loads your page once on a simulated phone, and network and server timing vary from run to run, so a few points either way is normal. Where it is shown, the real-visitor data from Chrome is the steadier number, and it is the one Google uses for ranking.
Which problems should I fix first?
Anything marked FAIL under Search or Security: a noindex tag, missing HTTPS or a robots.txt that blocks crawlers can undo everything else. Then the speed issues listed under Biggest savings. Warnings are worth fixing, but rarely urgent.
Does the audit change anything on my website?
No. It reads your site the way a browser does: the page you enter, plus robots.txt and the sitemap. It does not log in, submit forms or crawl other pages.
Why does it say my content is drawn by JavaScript?
Some sites, often built with React or similar tools, send an almost empty page and build it in the browser. Google can usually still read it, but later and less reliably, and link previews often show nothing. Server-side rendering or pre-rendering fixes it.
Do you store the websites I check?
We do not save reports or addresses in a database. A report link only works because the address is in the link itself, and opening it runs the checks again.
Tell us what you’re building
Thirty minutes is usually enough to tell you what it will take, roughly how long, and whether we are the right people for it. If we are not, we will say so.
